Volunteer Information

Becoming a Volunteer

We have many programs and opportunities for volunteering in Waldport.

You can volunteer one day a month or multiple times per week.

We are flexible to best meet the needs of our volunteer’s schedules.

Time is needed to sit with the children and listen to them read, assist with homework, prepare community meals or after school snacks, work beside the children in the garden.

Popular non-school activities are open to all ages and vary from painting umbrellas, planting, chess club, comic book club and cooking classes.

A background check is required to work as a volunteer.

Volunteer Orientation

Every month Seashore hosts a Volunteer Orientation.
